EPC DEC and TM44 certification

Energy Management have a highly skilled team of qualified engineers capable of carrying out several mandatory legislation and compliance certifications;

• Energy Performance certificates are a legal requirement for all business premises which are being sold or to let. These certificates rate how efficient the commercial building is from A-G. Fines for not making an EPC available to a prospective buyer or tenant can be as much as 12.5% of the rateable value of the building.
• Display Energy Certificates must be displayed in buildings occupied by a public authority. They are designed to provide an energy efficiency rating from A-G and must always be on display. Failure to comply could see you land a £500-£1000 fine.
• TM44 - It is a requirement when a company operates air conditioning units with an output of over 12KW (combined or individual) to comply with TM44 regulations. It is a companies or organisations legal responsibility to ensure that inspections of the units are carried out independently by an approved surveyor on a biyearly basis. The inspection includes an efficiency review, improvements, and possible alternative solutions.
